For each club competition, points are awarded for each sequence; the higher the place of the sequence, the more points are awarded. At the end of the year, the author with the most points is awarded the Muriel Yetts Trophy.
The Essex AV Group was formed to help anyone interested in improving their Audio Visual skills and knowledge. The Group meets on the first Wednesday in every month at 8pm. The evenings are varied, and include "how to do it" evenings, lectures from members and visiting speakers, covering all aspects of Audio Visual.
The group also hold competitions between members and with other AV Groups. The Group is a member of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain ( the PAGB) and affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies (the EAF).
The group is responsible for the East Anglian Audio Visual Competition, held annually in Margaretting. This competition has produced National and International prize winners.
